Many people embrace the practice of visualization and “placing their order” with the Universe that way. One of the biggest challenges with this, is to trust that your order WILL come to you if you keep your positive focus and attention on the end goal in your mind. In my “Law of Attraction Practitioner Course” I learned about this via a fun and powerful example by our wonderful teacher Rebecca.

She said “Imagine going our for diner, and you really fancy the cheese cake on the menu. So the waiter comes and you place the order for the cheese cake. Then… you wait! You enjoy the beautiful view and the person accompanying you. You expect the cheese cake to show up at some stage, right? So after a while, the waiter comes and brings you a huge, gorgeous looking plate with a piece of cheese cake, liquid chocolate all around and fresh strawberries. It looks and tastes absolutely delicious, and it is much more and better then you ever had expected!

When you place an order with the Universe by visualizing a certain goal with positive anticipation, you need to have the same trust that your order will be delivered when it is ready and in a way far more superior than you had ever imagined. The Universe will always bring you your desire in the best possible way. You see, if I hadn’t had the trust, I may have run into the kitchen to make sure my dessert is coming. I would have directed them to make up the plate – probably a small one and set up in a basic way- and get it ready as quickly as possible. I wouldn’t have had that wonderful dessert the way it was designed and I would have probably created some bad vibes in the kitchen too:).”

So the key lesson here, is “stay out of the kitchen” ! Visualize your goals with positive anticipation and keep focusing on it regularly with a feeling of excitement and certainty that your goal WILL come into your life when the time is right. Just enjoy life and get ready to ‘eat your dessert’!
